I lived in Vietnam for 16 months before moving to Thailand and it's hard not to compare both countries. While I loved Vietnam's nature (especially the mountains in the North) and its pagodas, I basically hated everything else. I was always in fear of my dogs being stolen, I hated the power outages and the ever-present dust, and I especially hated seeing dogs in cages waiting to be killed for food.

Thailand? Well, Thailand feels like Paris in comparison.

But since this is a photo blog, I figured it was fair to provide pictorial proof of what I'm saying. Just for reference, I paid basically the same amount of rent in both places.
